Facade

Rehearsal rooms, Berlin, Germany

Architects: TRU Arkitekten

At the Berlin University of the Arts, there was a great need for rehearsal rooms for the students of the music faculty. It was decided to utilise the unused space in the inner courtyard. Two pavilions were constructed and made available for the music students. In each of the pavilions, there are seven soundproof rooms which allow for harmonious rehearsals even when there are multiple users - perfect conditions for the creative mindsets at the university! The pavilions have a stunning cladding of TECU® Gold with round hole perforation. The material used requires minimum maintenance and its primary purpose is the refined appearance it gives to the facade. RMIG Solutions manufactured and supplied the 127 perforated sheets used for this project. The sheets were rolled and subsequently formed to create a breathtaking gold wave surrounding the buildings.
